Automatically change directory rights

Patrick,

I don't know if it's possible, but wouldn't it be handy when the rights of the photo-folder are automatically set to 777 so the user can't forget it.
Also there are users who don't know how to change the rights with their FTP-program.

Joep

Hello Joep, This is not

This is not possible, in very most cases you are not even able to create directory with PHP and if the user create it with FTP then the user under which PHP is running can not change it and can not create files in it.

Besides that, you do not have to do it for photo_folder, only for data and cache folder. Foto folder must be readable for PHP. PA does not change anything on your photos.

It was just a question. I

It was just a question. I myself use your webinstaller and know how to change the rights, but not all the users know how to do it, so I asked the question.
