Picture Sorting

I'm using the album for my personal website. I'm a traveler and want to post pictures for family and friends to view.
With that in mind, I like sorting the images by the date the picture was taken - but it seems that the date sorting is the upload date, not the original date. Is this an easy feature to add?
and what about being able to
and what about being able to view the albums in a slide show?
Exactly whast I need too
Any way we can simulate such behaviour?
