Modify main.php layout without affecting other albums

First of all, phpAlbum is awesome! It is the best I've seen so far and I really appreciate your work. I nees some help though...

I am using the default Borders theme with my own logo. In this theme you list the album on the left and multiple photos on the right. I would like to replace all the photos on the right with 1 single image (without any hyperlinks) that fills the entire space. I would like this only for the home page and do not want to change the other pages in any way. I can't figure out how to do this. This is my first choice. My second choice would be to modify the Borders theme to only show the albums on the main page but to have the album to fill the entire page and to be centered horizontally. Is this possible?

Thank you very much for your help!

What you can try is to use

What you can try is to use the long description of the directory "/"
If you put there some HTML code it will be displayed on the main page, as the main page is actually the "/" directory.

And of course, you can place there for example and it will be displayed there.

I'm not sure I understand

I don't think I understand what you are saying. Do I modify main.php or some other file? I tried changing the album file for the theme Border but it messed up every other page as well.

You do not have to modify

You do not have to modify the files, go to the setup section,
there is Galleries subsection and there you can edit that long description of any directory. The directory "/" is actually the frontpage.

Doesn't seem to work

I tried inserting an img tag with the image I wanted on the home page and it does seem to work. I am getting errors like this when I try to save my configuration in the setup area of the web site:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ']' in /home/ostailo/public_html/snapdragonphotography/phpdatabase.php(580) : runtime-created function on line 1

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: () in /home/ostailo/public_html/snapdragonphotography/phpdatabase.php on line 705

Have you tried this before?

Any other suggestions?

I still can't seem to get this to work properly. What file do I need to edit?

Home page layout

This is what I'm looking for:

I want the look of the thumbnail on the home page (the one that links you to the demo) but instead of the thumbnails linking to the actual photo I want the thumbnails to be the album thumbnails that are available on my site so that when you click on a thumbnail on the home page it takes you to the respective album.

Anyone have any idea how to do this?

Thank you.
