FTP login On Setup Page

Great script,

Had a question about the setup page under the Photos administrator is there a way to cut and paste just this section into another page. The reason being is I want to be able to allow a user to just access just this FTP login. I don't want them to have access to the other section in the setup page. Would I cut and paste it into a html or php page?

Thanks in advance and I hope someone can help.

Hello Jason, welcome on

Hello Jason,

welcome on phpAlbum.net forum. Yes, you can copy and past this form in some html file. But, if you click login you go automatically into the setup section and it will again ask for password. But, you could change this, so when cmd=setup and var1=admin (which is the combination in photos administrator) there will be no password protection, or some other password. For this you must change the function

get_password_for_cmd($cmd,$var1) in main.php file

there is as first command :

if (!strcmp($cmd,"setup")){
return $setup_password;
}

this you must not change, but as first should come following:

if (!strcmp($cmd,"setup") && !strcmp($var1,"admin"){
return ""; // or return "other_password";
}

if you have problems to do this do not hesitate to ask, or send me an email ...

Patrik

Thank You

I am a little new to this so please forgive me. I have copied the FTP login section into a new php document. I have tested it and it works great. But you are right it ends up going to the main setup panel login. Now you said that I have to change the function:

get_password_for_cmd($cmd,$var1) in main.php file

Where would this be located in main.php page?

Also from what I understand and I am sure I might be wrong should I paste this code:

if (!strcmp($cmd,"setup") && !strcmp($var1,"admin"){
return ""; // or return "other_password";
}

before this first command code in the main.php: (This code)

if (!strcmp($cmd,"setup")){
return $setup_password;
}

So shoulds it look like this:

if (!strcmp($cmd,"setup") && !strcmp($var1,"admin"){
return ""; // or return "other_password";
}

if (!strcmp($cmd,"setup")){
return $setup_password;
}

Thanks in advance, I really can't thank you enough.

Jason
