Scan Directories without being logged in

Hello,

I am using phpAlbum on my website to view my photos.
I upload my photos using a Java Applet to resize the images client-side, and I want to know how to perform the 'Scan Directories' function without being logged in on phpAlbum.

Ie, can I do this?
- My applet resizes and uploads the images into the photos folder.
- Scan Directories without being logged in

Thanks

IF I'm not mistaken,

IF I'm not mistaken, phpAlbum automatically scans every day for new files in the folders. When you search the forum, you'll find some info on how to let phpAlbum scan more frequently. But don't make it to many times a day, otherwise you could get trouble with the loading speed of your site.

Yes, it currently scans

Yes, it currently scans every 24 hours.

If you are logged in you can scan the directories by putting this in the address bar:
http://mydomain.com/main.php?cmd=setup&var1=dirs&var2=scan_dirs, and I was hoping for a way to do this without having to be logged in.

By my knowledge it isn't

By my knowledge it isn't necessary to be logged in. The scanning will be going automatically.

here's the link to the thread about changing the scanning interval.
