It would be nice if you could sort the images based on the original date in the exif data.

I wanted to add my voice to this issue -- this would be a great addition, since many time stamps for photos are not representative of the time the photo was actually taken. I tried to read through the source code myself to hack it in, but I'm new to php and didn't see a way of doing it. Please add this feature!!! You'll make a new father who would like to sort photos his daughter very happy!
