Password wont change for directories

Hello,

I am trying to figure out why when I try and change the password in the galleries section (the root password) and click save on the bottom, it reloads the page with the same old password. I have tried multiple times from multiple browsers, same problem.

Is there any easy way for me to fix this issue? Deleting login and setup files to reconfigure? I cannot re-upload the gallery

If i were to delete files in the data folder would that make me reconfigure the album? (that would be fine as long as it would accomplish my goal).

My client uses your album for her photo gallery, the site was switched to new hosting and our company and all files were transfered over, this is when the problem occurred.
