Installation

Hi there

i have downloaded the script and installed it. I changed the config file and put $data_dir="gallery";

as the directory is in www.mysite.com/gallery, and assigned CHMOD 777.

The setup page apeared, I filled it with everything, and then i submitted it... and i got the same seupt page (with the theme changed) and with the sentence: DIRECTORY: gallery DOES NOT EXISTS, CREATE IT WITH WRITE USER ACCESS! OR CHANGE IT IN config.php

i tried to login again, but i got errors like

Warning: theme_generate_album_page(themes//album.tpl.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/sanabelz/public_html/gallery/themes/engines/phptemplate/engine.php on line 362

I looked for album.tpl.php and i really couldnt find it...

so what's wrong with all of this??

Thank you

but the whole thing look

well, i first tried it that

well, i first tried it that way, but when trying to get to the setup screen for the 1st installation, it would say that the gallery folder doesnt exist or that CHMOD is not 777, even though it was!! so the first setup wouldnt work if it wasnt $data_dir="gallery";

But then, after the installation, the whole script wouldnt work if it is written that way... so im confused...

if u want, i can give u the access to the cpanel by email so u can try it by yourself...

thanx
