PHP syntax/parse error

If I switch between custom/default parameters for the photo details, it gives me the following:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PRIVATE, expecting ']' in x:\foo\phpdatabase.php(553) : runtime-created function on line 1

Fatal error: Function name must be a string in x:\foo\phpdatabase.php on line 678

Also, when I want to change group access to a album, i get:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PRIVATE, expecting ']' in x:\foo\phpdatabase.php(553) : runtime-created function on line 1

Any ideas? I wasnt able to find it..but im not a php shark :-)

Oh, and i have no idea what version i use. I used the web installer thingy...cant find version info anywhere. Downloaded it on may 12th.

Regarding the group permissions, it seems to apply only to albums with albums in them.

..i was a bit too fast - what I meant was:

It only applies to albums IN albums.
